Description
Some video files encoded in rmvb from TV capture are not shown correctly. The
wise guys who encoded these video used tool(don't know what, maybe it's Real
Producer) to add intro graphics/animations to the actual TV footages. I've
seen problems where the correct video minus one of the primary color played
over a static intro graphic background. I've also seen problems where the
video was out of v sync and played over a static into graphic background.
I ran into this problem using Xbox XBMC. The codec in question is
drv43260.dll. I was able to reproduce the same problem on the PC with the same
codec. Of course, these files plays fine using RealPlayer and Windows Media
Classic with Real Alternative. Also, the same codec is used by Real Producer
MediaEditor, and it plays fine there too.

There was no reply for a long time and I suspect that the files decode properly
with the newer binary codec. Marking as WORKSFORME for now.
Probably it's a file where the introduction have a different size compared to
the main movie (you won't notice it in realplayer, it rescales the video to the
intro size).
MPlayer can't handle size changes during playback, so the problem can't be
asiliy fixed.
Can you upload a short segment (1-2Mb) to mphq so i can verify that's really the
problem?
